Hello!

I’m Adrian, and I provide therapy and mediation. My approach to both modalities is strength-based, and rooted in my client’s autonomy and self-determination. I like to think of my role as a collaborator or a listener, rather than an authority.

I believe that you are the expert in your life.

  • Training

I completed my undergraduate degree at Seattle University, where I studied Political Science and English Literature. Next, I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University.

I have also completed basic mediation training, and advanced family mediation training. I’m currently in an intensive training program through King County Dispute Resolution Center.

  • Approach

Central to my therapy and mediation practice is a focus on how we “language” our experience. So often, conflict arises when we just miss each other. What we meant to say wasn’t what the other person heard, and we emotionally react or form conclusions based on assumptions. Therapy and mediation can both help to clarify what we express, and how we absorb.

In my free time I foster and adopt senior dogs. You may spot them napping my office from time to time!
